To help traders fuel up in the midst of the GameStop and AMC stock saga, Popeyes is giving out free chicken “tendies” with a $5 minimum purchase via the Popeyes app.
For those unfamiliar, tendies refer to gains and profits in Reddit parlance, but in the fast food world it’s also short for chicken tenders.
Popeyes said in a statement earlier today that it “wants to support retail traders and believes they ALL deserve tendies.”
Although the promo codes to redeem the free three-piece chicken tenders are listings for some of the stocks in question, Popeyes later confirmed that the offer isn’t only for traders.
From now through Tuesday, Popeyes is running a promotion where you can get a free 3-piece order of chicken tenders with any order of $5 or more through the mobile app.
To take advantage of the deal, simply open the Popeyes app, add one or two items whose combined price amount to at least $5, and then use one of the following promo codes at checkout: $GME, $AMC, $NOK, or $BB.
The free three-piece tenders offer is available at participating Popeyes restaurants nationwide and runs until tomorrow February 2, 2021.
