Following a notorious fast-food rival, Shake Shack launched a BBQ Boneless Baby Back Rib Sandwich made with real ribs and a new Mac & Cheese side option at participating locations nationwide.
Available as part of the brand’s returning Smoky BBQ menu, the new BBQ Boneless Baby Back Rib Sandwich features hand-deboned, 100% baby back pork ribs that are slow-cooked for nine hours, marinated in a proprietary BBQ spice blend with apple cider vinegar, smothered in smoky BBQ sauce, and topped with coleslaw and pickles on a plain toasted potato bun.
Meanwhile, the new Mac & Cheese pairs cavatappi with a creamy sauce made from cheddar and American cheeses and is finished with a crunchy breadcrumb topping.
At my nearest Shake Shack, the sandwich is $11.99 and the mac & cheese is $4.99, though prices may vary by location.
In addition, Shake Shack has brought back its fan‑favorite Smoky BBQ menu, which, aside from the BBQ Boneless Baby Back Rib Sandwich, includes:
- Smoky Classic BBQ Burger
- Smoky Classic BBQ Chicken Sandwich
- Spicy Fries with Ranch
- Spicy Cheese Fries with Ranch
You can find the Smoky BBQ menu at participating Shake Shack locations nationwide for a limited time.
