Shake Shack is serving up big, bold flavors with the launch of a brand-new, limited-time menu featuring swicy (sweet/spicy) and umami (savory/salty) flavors like new Korean Style Fried Chicken, Korean BBQ Burger, and more.
On the swicy side, the brand is introducing a sweet and spicy Gochujang-glazed chicken sandwich that comes topped with a white kimchi slaw made with Portland-based Choi’s Kimchi. Meanwhile, on the umami side, the Manhattan-based chain is adding the new Korean BBQ Burger, which is made with savory and salty Korean BBQ sauce on Shake Shack’s 100 percent Angus beef burger. Whether you go for swicy or savory, both options pair well with the new Spicy Korean BBQ Fries and Spicy Korean BBQ Cheese Fries, loaded up with kimchi seasoning and served with a side of Korean BBQ sauce for dipping.
More specifically, the Korean Style Fried Chicken Sandwich features a crispy, white-meat chicken breast fillet coated in a spicy and sweet Gochujang glaze, sprinkled with sesame seeds and topped with white kimchi slaw, featuring Choi’s Kimchi, and served on a toasted potato bun for a suggested starting price of $8.49.
Priced at $7.79, Shake Shack’s Korean BBQ Burger consists of a 100 percent Angus beef cheeseburger topped with crispy sweet onions, fresh scallions and a savory, salty Korean BBQ sauce, all served on a toasted potato bun.
Spicy Korean BBQ Fries start at $3.99 and are made with crispy crinkle cuts spiced with kimchi seasoning and served with Korean BBQ sauce on the side for dipping.
Spicy Korean BBQ Cheese Fries feature crispy crinkle cuts topped with the brand’s cheese sauce spiced with kimchi seasoning and served with a side of Korean BBQ sauce. Starts at $4.99.
