Shake Shack is teaming up with three Michelin-starred chef Dominique Crenn of Atelier Crenn, Petit Crenn, and Bar Crenn to create a new one-of-a-kind, limited-time item: Dominique Crenn’s Grilled Cheese Sandwich.
Dominique Crenn’s Grilled Cheese Sandwich features Bohemian Creamery’s Boho Belle made with organic cow’s milk cheese, Bleu Belle Farm tomatoes, and onion jam on Tartine Bakery sourdough bread.
The new sandwich will be available for one day only on Thursday, September 9, 2021, while supplies last, at Shake Shack’s San Francisco location in Cow Hollow on Fillmore Street.
The limited time menu item will carry a suggested price of $12.99 and will be available for purchase in-store, through pickup or delivery via the brand’s mobile app.
Additionally, the first 200 fans to arrive for the one day collab will receive special giveaways such as custom, make-your-own floral bouquets and produce boxes and copies of Chef Crenn’s memoir, Rebel Chef: In Search for What Matters.
It’s also worth noting that proof of vaccination is required for customers dining inside the Cow Hollow Shack.
Proceeds from the sale of the new grilled cheese sandwich will be donated to La Cocina to support their newly opened Municipal Marketplace in San Francisco’s Tenderloin district.
