Smashburger and celebrity chef Rick Bayless have teamed up for the release of a new Hispanic-inspired menu item, the Chorizo Cheeseburger.
The Chorizo Cheeseburger includes a Certified Angus Beef patty topped with V&V Supremo’s spicy all-natural Mexican-style pork chorizo, layered with melted cheddar cheese, house-made jalapeño pico de gallo, lettuce, and mayo, all served on a toasted spicy chipotle bun.
To bring this burger to life, Smashburger partnered with V&V Supremo, a local family brand in Chicago that produces award-winning traditional pork Mexican-style chorizo, made with 100% natural pork loin with no additional meat additives.
While prices may vary by location, you can expect to pay around $6.59 for the new Chorizo Cheeseburger and $8.59 for the Double Chorizo Cheeseburger.
Additionally, Smashburger will be offering a BOGO deal on December 2, 2021, where fans can buy a Chorizo Cheeseburger and get a second one for just $1.
The Chorizo Cheeseburger is available at participating all Smashburger restaurants nationwide through February 15, 2021.
