After a successful test in select markets last winter, Smashburger is rolling out the new jack & annie’s plant-based burger made from jackfruit at all locations nationwide.
Smashburger’s new jack & annie’s plant-based burger includes a plant-based jack & annie’s patty, a slice of metly American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pickles, ketchup, and Smash Sauce on a toasted bun.
According to a press release, the new plant-based patty has 47 percent less fat than that of a traditional beef burger patty and can be substituted in any of the chain’s Signature Burgers, single or double, to give guests more plant-based options to choose from.
The plant-based veggie burger can be found now at participating locations across the country as part of the brand’s permanent menu.
