Subway announced today that it is making significant updates to its national menu, introducing new flavors, textures, and the return of fan favorites—each highlighted in three new signature sandwiches: the new Spicy Nacho Chicken Sub, Honey Mustard BBQ Chicken Sub, and Cheesy Garlic Steak Sub.
New and Returning Sauces
Following a three-year hiatus, Subway’s beloved BBQ sauce has made a triumphant return to menus across the country. This sweet and tangy favorite, cherished for its notes of hickory smoke, black pepper, red pepper, and warm spices, is back due to overwhelming fan demand.
Subway has also introduced a brand-new Cheddar Cheese sauce, a rich and velvety mix of sharp cheddar, American cheese, and a touch of parmesan. This delectable sauce pairs wonderfully with Subway’s Auntie Anne’s Footlong Pretzel or any of the brand’s new Footlong Dippers, or it can be drizzled over your favorite footlong sub for an extra burst of flavor.

In addition, Subway has also unveiled SubKrunch, an innovative new crunchy topping designed for those seeking an extra burst of flavor and texture on their sandwiches, wraps, or salads. These crispy bits were crafted to deliver a satisfying crunch with each bite, seasoned with a savory blend and fried to crispy perfection.
New Signature Sandwiches
- Honey Mustard BBQ Chicken: Rotisserie-style chicken topped with melty Monterey Cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions and pickles, all drizzled with Honey Mustard and the chain’s signature smokey BBQ sauce.
- Spicy Nacho Chicken: Rotisserie-style chicken topped with jalapeños, green peppers, red onions, and SubKrunch and finished with a drizzle of Cheddar Cheese sauce and Creamy Sriracha sauce for an extra kick of heat.
- Cheesy Garlic Steak: Sliced steak topped with red onions, green peppers and SubKrunch, finished with a drizzle of Roasted Garlic Aioli and creamy Cheddar Cheese sauce.
