Subway is teaming up with King’s Hawaiian to test a new sandwich menu made with fresh ingredients and a new, 8-inch size, freshly baked King’s Hawaiian bread.
Testing begins on June 27, 2019 at over 300 locations throughout Richmond, VA; Reno, NV; and Champaign, IL.
Subway will be the first fast-food chain ever to bake King’s Hawaiian bread in its restaurants.
The new sandwiches made with King’s Hawaiian bread feature a Deluxe portion of meat and double the cheese of a regular 6-inch Subway sandwich.
Customers in test markets can ask for any sandwich “Aloha Style” to get it served on a freshly baked King’s Hawaiian bread with 50 percent more meat and double the cheese.
Apart from being able to order any sandwich “Aloha Style,” Subway is also offering two new iconic sandwich recipes: New, Turkey, Bacon & Provolone, and New, Ham & Swiss.
The new Turkey, Bacon and Provolone features savory turkey, provolone cheese, bacon, tomatoes, lettuce, and mayo on an 8-inch King’s Hawaiian bread.
The new Ham and Swiss features ham, Swiss cheese, tomatoes, spinach, and mayo served on a King’s Hawaiian 8-inch bread.
Subway’s new sandwiches made with King’s Hawaiian bread will be available at participating locations from June 27 through September 4.
