Subway today announced that it is moving National Sandwich Day to Tuesday, October 27, 2026, and, to celebrate, is welcoming back its fan-favorite Fritos Chicken Enchilada Sub after a hiatus of more than a decade, along with the Caramel Apple Cookie, which last appeared on menus in 2021.
Additionally, to keep the celebration going, Subway will offer current and new Sub Club members a free Footlong when they buy another Footlong through the Subway app or website from October 27 through November 8, 2026.
Current and newly enrolled Sub Club members will find the Footlong buy-one-get-one offer loaded automatically into their Subway app wallets.
The Fritos Chicken Enchilada Sub features juicy rotisserie-style chicken marinated in enchilada sauce and topped with Monterey Cheddar cheese, crisp Fritos, smoky Baja Chipotle sauce, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and red onions, all served on freshly baked Artisan bread.
Meanwhile, the Caramel Apple Cookie combines apple pieces, caramel chips, and salted caramel crunch, topped with a drizzle of caramel icing.
You can find the Fritos Chicken Enchilada Sub and Caramel Apple Cookie at participating Subway locations nationwide for a limited time starting October 27, 2026.
