Taco Bell and Milk Bar are teaming up once again to launch the new Birthday Cake Empanada at participating locations beginning October 15, 2026.
The Birthday Cake Empanada features a crispy, golden, flaky crust filled with cake batter-flavored filling, topped with pink frosting and rainbow sprinkles, and served in custom co-branded Taco Bell and Milk Bar packaging.
The Milk Bar Birthday Cake Empanada will cost $3.49, although its actual price may vary by location.
Taco Bell and Milk Bar first collaborated in 2022 on Strawberry Bell Truffles, which combined Milk Bar Cake Truffles with pieces of Taco Bell’s Crunchy Taco Shell. The brands partnered again in 2025 for Birthday Cake Churros. The new Birthday Cake Empanada marks their latest dessert collaboration.
Additionally, Taco Bell Rewards members who add their birthday to their profile can choose a free Milk Bar Birthday Cake Empanada or a regular Mountain Dew Baja Blast Freeze as a birthday reward while the empanada is available, at participating locations and while supplies last.
