By popular demand, Taco Bell is welcoming back one of the most requested and iconic menu items in the brand’s recent history, the Toasted Cheddar Chalupa.
The Toasted Cheddar Chalupa features a crunchy chalupa shell with 6-month aged cheddar toasted on the outside and filled with seasoned beef, tomatoes, reduced-fat sour cream, lettuce, and cheddar cheese on the inside.
For vegetarians, the chain is also once again offering the Black Bean Toasted Cheddar Chalupa, which features all the same ingredients as the original but swaps out the seasoned beef for black beans.
Both the Toasted Cheddar Chalupa and the Black Bean Toasted Cheddar Chalupa can be enjoyed a la carte for a suggested price of $4.19. It’s also worth mentioning that for an additional 20 cents, you can swap out the seasoned beef or black beans for steak.
Additionally, this time around, the brand is introducing a new Toasted Cheddar Chalupa Deluxe Box that comes with a Chicken Toasted Cheddar Chalupa, a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, a Crunchy Taco, a side of Chips and Nacho Cheese Sauce, and medium fountain drink, all for just $7.49.
For those with smaller appetites, the Toasted Cheddar Chalupa Box, which also includes a Crunchy Taco, Cinnamon Twists, and a medium fountain drink, is available for $5.49.
You can find the Toasted Cheddar Chalupa at participating Taco Bell restaurants nationwide for a limited time. Prices may vary by location.
