Taco Bell is celebrating Mexican-American musician Omar Apollo’s family heritage with the introduction of a first-of-its-kind sauce packet collab, the Disha Hot Hot Sauce, along with a new Disha Hot Discovery Box.
The new sauce will be exclusively available for Taco Bell Rewards Members starting Tuesday, September 24, and will be hitting menus nationwide on Thursday, September 26, 2024.
Capturing the savory, smoky flavors perfected by Omar’s mother in her original recipe, the new Disha Hot Hot Sauce is made with a combination of roasted tomatillos, peppers, onions, tomatoes, lime juice, white vinegar, and a family-secret spice blend.
To celebrate the new addition to its iconic sauce packet lineup, Taco Bell is also introducing the new Disha Hot Discovery Box, which includes three Disha Hot Hot Sauce Packets, a Cheesy Gordita Crunch, a Doritos Locos Taco, a Crunchy Taco, chips and nacho cheese sauce, and a medium fountain drink, all for a suggested price of $8.99.
Additionally, Disha Hot Hot Sauce Packets can be purchased a la carte for 20 cents each to enjoy with your favorite Taco Bell menu items.
Taco Bell and Disha Hot Exclusive Vinyl Release Event on Tuesday
Taco Bell is honoring Omar Apollo’s unique musical style by launching a special Taco Bell X Disha Hot Kit on Tuesday, September 24th, at 2 PM PST, available exclusively to the first 500 Rewards Members who claim it through the Taco Bell app. In collaboration with Omar Apollo, Taco Bell is offering a limited-edition vinyl variant of his latest album, “God Said No,” specifically for its loyalty members. These special vinyl records feature vibrant orange liquid, reflecting the branding of the Disha Hot Hot Sauce Packets. Additionally, each Taco Bell X Disha Hot Kit will include a signed vinyl insert from Omar, three packets of Disha Hot Hot Sauce, and a unique Disha Hot Sauce bottle.
