Slow-braised shredded beef takes center stage at Taco Bell with the debut of the new Grilled Cheese Dipping Taco beginning August 3, 2023.
Drawing inspiration from the rich flavors of birria, Taco Bell’s new Grilled Cheese Dipping Taco features the brand’s newest protein option – slow-braised beef – with a three-cheese blend melted on the inside and grilled on the outside of a fried white corn shell. The taco is served with warm nacho cheese sauce and zesty red sauce on the side for dipping.
Arriving as the latest addition to the chain’s growing Grilled Cheese offerings, the Grilled Cheese Dipping Taco can be enjoyed a la carte for a suggested price of $3.49.
In addition to the shredded beef, the Grilled Cheese Dipping Taco is filled with bold flavors and premium ingredients, such as a creamy jalapeño sauce and a melty three-cheese blend consisting of mozzarella, cheddar, and pepper jack cheeses inside and outside of the freshly fried daily white corn shell.
You can find the Grilled Cheese Dipping Taco at participating Taco Bell locations nationwide for a limited time starting August 3, 2023.
The new taco was first tested at select locations in the Nashville area back in October 2022, and it was a resounding hit.
It sounds like it could be very good, I just hope the meat isn’t mushy like El Pollo Locos shredded beef.
