Taco Bell is testing a new menu item called the Cantina Crispy Melt Taco out in Detroit, Michigan.
The new Cantina Crispy Melt Taco consists of a freshly fried white corn shell filled with seasoned beef, Taco Bell’s famous three-cheese blend, melted nacho cheese sauce, shredded cheddar cheese, reduced-fat sour cream, lettuce, and diced tomatoes.
As with most Taco Bell menu items, you also have the option to ‘Make it Vegetarian’ by substituting the seasoned beef for black beans.
The Cantina Crispy Melt Taco carries a suggested price of $1.99. You can also get it as part of a $5 Cantina Crispy Melt Taco Box that also includes a Beef Chalupa Supreme, a Crunchy Taco, and a medium drink for just 5 dollars. Prices may vary by location.
