Taco Bell announced today that its famed Nacho Fries are coming back to restaurants nationwide on Thursday, July 22, 2021.
First introduced in 2018 and now back for the seventh time, Nacho Fries consist of perfectly crisped French fries coated in bold Mexican spices and served with a side of warm nacho cheese sauce for dipping.
Just like the last time, Nacho Fries will be available on their own for a suggested price of $1.39 and as part of a $5 box that includes an order of Nacho Fries, a Beefy 5-layer Burrito, a Crunchy Taco, and a medium fountain drink of your choice.
Additionally, Taco Bell will also be introducing a new take on their #1 best-selling limited time offer: Nacho Fries Loaded Taco Style.
Nacho Fries Loaded Taco Style consist of Nacho Fries smothered in a layer of warm nacho cheese sauce, reduced-fat sour cream, and savory seasoned beef.
And as usual, Taco Bell’s Live Más Productions will once again be releasing a cinematic visual experience tied to their fan-favorite Nacho Fries.
This year’s faux movie-trailer is an anime style film titled “Fry Force,” which follows the story of a young woman named Rei who is the leader of Fry Force, an elite group that has kept Mexican-spice-loving monsters at bay for years “so the world can enjoy Nacho Fries.”
Rei is driven by the disappearance of her brother and vows to protect the world to what it holds dear: Nacho Fries. But in order to save the future of Nacho Fries, “she will be forced to confront her past.”
