As previously announced, Taco Bell’s beloved Mexican Pizza is returning to menus permanently on September 15, 2022.
However, starting today, Taco Bell Rewards members will have exclusive early access to the returning fan favorite via the brand’s mobile app for in-store or drive-thru pickup orders.
Taco Bell’s Mexican Pizza features two layers of tortilla topped with pizza sauce, beans, seasoned beef, tomatoes, and a melted three cheese blend, all for a suggested price of $4.49. It’s also available as vegetarian without the seasoned beef.
Beginning on September 22, fans can order the Mexican Pizza via third-party delivery partners like DoorDash, Uber Eats, Postmates and Grubhub.
Additionally, and to celebrate its permanent return, Grubhub will be offering users a free Mexican Pizza with a minimum $20 purchase from September 23 through September 25, 2022.

Was ‘running out’ of this item planned…similar to the ‘old coke vs new coke’ fiasco? It is almost like they intentionally stopped the re-introduction of it half way though in order to get publicity…and the free press that it generated. After all, they had the signs printed up on on their ordering kiosks the same day that they ran out.
