McDonald’s is once again teaming up with Oreo to bring back their much-requested Oreo Frappé for a limited time this spring/summer after a nearly 8-year hiatus.
The chocolatey, jolty beverage is slated to hit menus at participating restaurants across the country on May 17, 2023, sources told The Fast Food Post on Friday.
The Oreo Frappé features the brand’s mocha coffee frappe base blended with crushed ice, Oreo cookie pieces, and cookies & cream syrup, and then hand topped with whipped cream and even more Oreo cookie crumbs.
More specifically, the product’s description reads:
“Rich mocha combined with the sweet flavors of Cookie ‘N Cream with the crunch of Oreo cookies, topped with whipped cream and sprinkled with Oreo cookie pieces.'”
But wait, there’s more. According to one general manager, at some locations, the frozen treat will also include a whole Oreo cookie and it will even come with a little blue spoon so you can scoop it like ice cream.
It’s still unclear if this will be available at all McDonald’s locations, but we’re hoping it makes it nationwide since promotional materials have already started to pop up in places as far away from each other as Virginia and California.
