Just in time for seafood season, Wendy’s announces that their fan-favorite Crispy Panko Fish Sandwich is making a limited-time comeback to menus at more than 5,200 restaurants across the U.S., although it is offered at some locations year-round.
The Crispy Panko Fish Sandwich features a Wild Caught Alaskan Pollock fillet coated in panko breading, fried until crispy, and topped with a slice of melty American cheese, lettuce, pickles, and creamy dill tartar sauce on a toasted premium bun. Additionally, since Wendy’s sandwiches are made fresh to order, you have the option to customize it to your liking—for example, by ordering it without cheese.
Just like last year, Wendy’s seasonal fish sandwich is available à la carte for $4.19 or as part of a combo meal with fries and a drink, starting at $7.39 (prices may vary).
It’s worth noting that, besides Hot & Crispy Fries, the brand also recommends pairing the returning seasonal sandwich with either Cheese Fries or a Sour Cream & Chive Baked Potato, so you might want to try one of these duos if you’re craving a more flavor-packed meal.
According to the fast-food chain, their Wild Caught Alaskan Pollock fillets provide a similar flavor experience to cod, offering white, flaky meat and are sourced from the world’s largest certified sustainable fishery, with only about 15% of the population harvested annually, essentially guaranteeing plenty remain to sustain future generations. In addition, the supply chain is fully traceable, reflecting Wendy’s commitment to responsible sourcing.
You can find the Crispy Panko Fish Sandwich at participating Wendy’s locations nationwide for a limited time.
