Wendy’s looks to spice up its Made to Crave premium sandwich lineup with the introduction of the new plant-based Spicy Black Bean Burger in three select markets starting June 28, 2021.
The Spicy Black Bean Burger comes with a signature black bean patty crafted with a blend of spices like chipotle pepper and paprika, layered with crunchy chipotle jalapenos, creamy, melted pepper jack cheese, fresh tomatoes, sweet online slices, crispy romaine lettuce, and a spicy chipotle sauce on a warm, premium toasted bun.
The new plant-based sandwich, which will only be available in Columbus, Jacksonville, and Pittsburgh (at least, for now), will carry a suggested price of $5.79 and be ordered for contactless pickup via the Wendy’s app with mobile order, at the drive-thru, or through delivery with Grubhub, DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Postmates.
To add to the excitement, when you order the Spicy Black Bean Burger through the Wendy’s app, you can get an order of free medium fries with the offer in the app, as well as free in-app delivery through July 1, 2021.
The new Spicy Black Bean Burger will be available for a limited time beginning June 28 at select test locations in Columbus, Jacksonville, and Pittsburgh.
