Because of soaring wing prices across the country, Wingstop has begun testing new bone-in chicken thighs at select locations in Colorado, Georgia, Nevada, and Texas.
The new option consists of crispy fried chicken wings sauced and tossed in any of the brand’s 11 signature flavors such as Lemon Pepper, Original Hot, and Mango Habanero, among others. The new Crispy Chicken Thighs are seasoned and fried up just like the chain’s traditional bone-in wings, but they’re bigger, which means they have more meat on them.
In El Paso, Texas, Wingstop charges $2.99 for two crispy thighs, $5.99 for five, and $12.99 for a Crispy Thigh Large Combo that includes three Crispy Thighs with one flavor, four classic wings with one flavor, regular fries or veggie sticks, one dip, and a 20-ounce drink. You can also get a Crispy Thigh Medium Combo, which includes two Crispy Thighs, three classic wings, your choice of regular fries or veggie sticks, plus one dip and a 20-ounce drink for $9.69.
Additionally, the chain is also offering an Ultimate Thigh Bundle that comes with ten thighs, ten classic wings, and ten boneless wings with one flavor each, and two large fries, and four dips for $38.89.
As always, prices may vary by location. For example, in Las Vegas, Nevada, Wingstop is charging $3.29 for two thighs, $6.79 for five, $9.59 for the Crispy Thigh Medium Combo, $11.99 for the Crispy Thigh Large Combo, and $35.79 for the Ultimate Thigh Bundle.
The new Crispy Chicken Thighs are available now at select Wingstop locations in El Paso, Texas; Atlanta, Georgia; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Denver, Glendale, and Golden, Colorado.
