Georgia-based chicken chain Zaxby’s is once again offering its own take on the classic fan-favorite Philly cheesesteak with the return of the Chicken Philly Sandwich.
Zaxby’s Chicken Philly sandwich consists of three hand-breaded, chopped Chicken Fingerz or a marinated grilled filet smothered in melted White American cheese, topped with sautéed peppers and onions, along with a creamy garlic aioli, all served on a toasted hoagie roll.
This time around, the Chicken Philly can be enjoyed a la carte for a suggested price of $8.49 or as part of a meal served with Crinkle Fries and a small drink for $10.99 (may vary).
While Zaxby’s hasn’t made its way to the home of the Philly cheesesteak (Philadelphia, PA), the brand is celebrating the return of the fan-favorite Chicken Philly Sandwich by turning Philly locals into “coupons” for a free Chicken Philly Sandwich at select locations during January, offering a creative way to join the celebration despite the distance.
Furthermore, when Philadelphia’s basketball team hits the road to play in Orlando and Indianapolis this January, Zaxby’s is welcoming Philadelphians to visit their stores for a complimentary Chicken Philly. On January 12 in Orlando or January 18 in Indianapolis, residents of Philadelphia can simply show their Philly ID to receive a free Chicken Philly for themselves and a friend.
