(Update: The Angry Whopper is officially back on the menu for a limited time. You can read our full review here.)

The wait is finally over. Sources show that Burger King is bringing back the Angry Whopper to menus nationwide on April 11, 2019.

For those unfamiliar, the Angry Whopper is a spicy jalapeño burger that will light your taste buds on fire.

Originally introduced in 2009, the spiciest Whopper ever has been bouncing on and off the menu for years.

In 2016, Burger King introduced the Angriest Whopper, which, besides the Angry buns, also featured melted American cheese, bacon, beef, mayo, jalapeños, angry onion petals, and spicy Angry Sauce. The Angry buns had hot sauce baked into them. YUM.

The Angry Whopper features a grilled 100 percent beef patty, melted Manchego cheese, angry onion petals, crispy bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and jalapeños sandwiched between two lightly toasted sesame seed buns.

You can expect to pay around $5.99 per sandwich. And you can also get it as part of a combo meal for a suggested price of $7.49. The company has provided no details yet, but when they do, we’ll update this page with the official prices.
