California Pizza Kitchen kicks off fall 2023 with the return of its popular Italian Chopped Salad alongside four new limited time only items, including the new Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Black & Bleu Pizza, Spicy Buffalo Chicken Chopped Salad, and Sparkling Mango Sangria.
Building on the success of the West Coast Burger, the new chicken sandwich offers a similar California-inspired twist to a traditional menu favorite – hand breaded, extra crispy, piled high with fresh extras. In addition, California Pizza Kitchen is extending its spicy buffalo sauce to an all-new Spicy Buffalo Chopped Salad, and is also introducing a new Black & Bleu Pizza that pairs its classic bleu cheese with grilled carne asada steak. Finally, and back by overwhelming fan-demand, is the return of the original CPK Italian Chopped Salad.
The original Italian Chopped Salad is made with julienned salami, roasted turkey breast, garbanzo beans, tomato, fresh basil, and mozzarella cheese, all tossed in a mustard herb vinaigrette dressing.
Here’s a closer look at California Pizza Kitchen’s four new menu items:
- Crispy Chicken Sandwich: An extra crispy chicken breast fillet topped with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and mayo on toasted brioche bun. Served with a side of crispy smashed potatoes.
- Black & Bleu Pizza: Tender marinated grilled carne asada, Gorgonzola cheese crumbles, garlic olive oil, oven-roasted cherry tomatoes, and shaved red onions. Finished with cracked black pepper and parsley.
- Spicy Buffalo Chicken Chopped Salad: Grilled chicken tossed in the brand’s signature buffalo sauce and served on top of crisp Romaine lettuce with Monterey Jack and creamy Gorgonzola cheeses, carrots, cilantro, celery, and scallions, all tossed in herb ranch dressing. You can also get it with crispy chicken.
- Sparkling Mango Sangria: A combination of Coppola Pinot Grigio, Milagro Silver Tequila, and the tropical flavors of mango, pineapple and guava.
The revamped menu can be found now at all company-owned California Pizza Kitchen locations across the country.
