Krispy Kreme Unveils New Pup’kin Spice Doggie Donuts For National Dog Day

In honor of National Dog Day, Krispy Kreme today announced the launch of a new line of Pup’kin Spice Doggie Donuts at participating locations beginning August 26, 2023.

Inspired by the donut chain’s Pumpkin Spice collection that debuted earlier this month, Pup’kin Spice Doggie Doughnuts are handmade doughnut-shaped biscuits for dogs.

The new Doggie Donuts include the Pup’kin Spice Original Glazed, Pup’kin Spice Cake, Pup’kin Spice Cheesecake Swirl, and Pup’kin Spice Maple Peanut, and come packaged in a special 6-count box that can be purchased both in-shop and at the drive-thru.

Krispy Kreme says that their Pup’kin Spice Doggie Donuts are safe, dog-friendly, doughnut-shaped biscuits handmade by Australia-based artisan baked pet treat company Huds and Toke. Designed for dogs of all sizes and ages, each treat is made with a hard-baked cookie and ingredients such as pumpkin, peanut butter and carob, which is a common substitute for chocolate. Pup’kin Spice Doggie Donuts are meant to be enjoyed as a snack instead of a meal. Let me repeat that clearly: they are not formulated to be served as a complete and balanced meal.

In addition, the chain is also offering limited-edition Krispy Kreme white or green bandanas covered in a pattern of dogs, bones and donuts to keep your dog’s tail wagging with this stylish and special accessory. Krispy Kreme’s dog bandanas are available in one size that fits most dogs and can be found while supplies last at participating shops.

Pup’kin Spice Doggie Donuts are available at participating Krispy Kreme locations nationwide for a limited time from August 26 through August 31, 2023.
