Carl’s Jr. announced today that it’s partnering with Beyond Meat once again to release the Beyond Famous Star with Cheese burger in Canada. The move marks the chain’s first of expansion of the meatless burger into an international market.
Mike Woida, President of International, CKE Restaurants says that “After the wild success of the Beyond Famous Star in their U.S. Carl’s Jr. locations and hearing consumer feedback and demand for a plant-based option at their Canada locations, they knew it was the perfect time to add the Beyond Famous Star to their menu internationally.”
The Beyond Famous Star Burger with Cheese comes with a 100% plant-based beef patty, topped with dill pickle chips, lettuce, tomato, yellow onion, mayo, and special sauce on a sesame seed bun.
Cooked and flavored by fire, the Famous Star is one of the most craveable burger options on the menu, according to Carl’s Jr.
The chain will be celebrating the arrival of the Beyond Famous Star in Canada by offering a buy-one-get-one-free (BOGO) Beyond Famous Star burger deal starting September 9, 2019 through September 15, 2019 or while supplies last.
