Chick-fil-A looks to offer its own unique take on two American staples with a test of a new line of burgers and bone-in chicken wings in College Park, Maryland, through their delivery-only virtual restaurant concept, which is called the Little Blue Menu.
Inspired by the original blue menu at The Dwarf Grill (the chain’s first location, founded by S. Truett Cathy in 1946) in Hapeville, Georgia, the new Little Blue Menu was put together by Senior Culinary Lead Developer Stuart Tracy from scratch to test Chick-fil-A’s latest menu innovations as well as “hundreds of recipes” as part of the brand’s ongoing effort to give fans more of what they want. The concept’s menu features a variety of tastes, including signature fan-favorites, all prepared under one roof.
Besides the Chick-fil-A menu, the Little Blue Menu includes a variety of items such as bone-in wings, available fried, roasted or smoked, and no-fuss burgers, like the Signature Burger, Cheese on Cheese, Bleu Cheese Burger, and Bacon Burger.
The Signature Burger comes with a beef patty topped with white American cheese, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, dill pickles, and Burger Sauce, all served on a brioche bun.
With prices starting at $5.99, the Little Blue Menu is available Monday through Saturday from 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM via the Chick-fil-A app or website at participating locations in College Park, MD, for a limited time.
