Chipotle Celebrates National Quesadilla Day with $1 Million Giveaway Through Buy One Entree Get One Free Quesadilla (BOGO) Promotion

Chipotle Mexican Grill has announced an exciting way to celebrate National Quesadilla Day by offering up to $1 million in complimentary quesadillas. This year marks the first time the chain will introduce a buy-one-entree-get-one-quesadilla (BOGO) promotion, available through various digital platforms.

Quesadillas are a favorite among Americans, with chicken quesadillas ranking as the second most popular food item ordered in 2023, according to DoorDash. To enhance the festivities for National Quesadilla Day, Chipotle is making it easier for fans to indulge in this beloved dish.

Quest for Hidden Codes

Starting on September 23, Chipotle will initiate a scavenger hunt, releasing codes for its delicious quesadillas on social media. Fans can find these codes through @Chipotle on Instagram, @ChipotleTweets on X, and from various creators on TikTok who share a passion for Chipotle’s quesadillas. A total of 21,000 fans will have the opportunity to claim a BOGO quesadilla.

Content creator Shari Dyonne, known for her innovative “Concoction” drink hack, will highlight her favorite quesadilla order in a mukbang video and provide a code via her TikTok account @ShariDyonne for up to 10,000 fans to enjoy a BOGO quesadilla.

Another mukbang enthusiast and Chipotle aficionado, Dylan McArthur, will also showcase his preferred quesadilla order and share a code on TikTok through @Dylan.Mcarthur, allowing another 10,000 fans to score a BOGO quesadilla.

Additionally, creator Anthony Hernandez will offer fans a chance to try his recommended quesadilla order with a text-to-claim code shared on his TikTok @Immanthonyy, giving 10,000 more fans the opportunity to redeem a BOGO quesadilla.

Stephanie Perdue, Vice President of Brand Marketing, shared her enthusiasm: “Our customizable hand-crafted quesadillas combine quality ingredients with melted cheese that food lovers on TikTok can’t resist. We’re thrilled to collaborate with some of our most dedicated creators to fulfill our fans’ cravings for free quesadillas.”

National Quesadilla Day

On September 25, fans can enjoy a free quesadilla through DoorDash and Uber Eats with a minimum purchase requirement. Up to 15,000 DoorDash customers can receive a complimentary quesadilla with a $25 order. Meanwhile, Uber Eats users can get a free quesadilla with a minimum cart value of $15, available to 10,000 fans.

Customizable Hand-Crafted Quesadillas

Chipotle’s exclusive digital quesadillas come with melted Monterey jack cheese, a choice of protein, optional fajita vegetables, and three dipping sauces. The Monterey jack cheese is freshly grated every morning at each Chipotle location, with the company expecting to source nearly 70 million pounds of cheese this year alone.

Just to be clear, the BOGO offer is valid from September 23 to September 25, 2024, at participating Chipotle locations across the United States. To qualify for the Buy-One-Get-One-Quesadilla-Free promotion, you must purchase one regular-priced entrée. The complimentary quesadilla cannot include any add-ons, and Kids Meals or three-pointer options do not qualify as eligible entrées. This deal is available for one-time use only, and a promo code will be required to redeem it.
