Chipotle is celebrating the launch of its new Pollo Asado by partnering with Chipotle superfan and star content creator Karl Jacobs to help promote the chain’s first new chicken menu innovation in its 29-year history.
As part of the partnership, Chipotle is introducing the new Karl Jacobs Burrito, which was inspired by the YouTube star’s go-to order, and they’re also releasing a new TV commercial that was filmed at Karl’s local Chipotle restaurant, where he links up with a real Chipotle crew member to prepare the ingredients in the burrito and build his own new menu item.
The Karl Jacobs Burrito features new Pollo Asado chicken, brown rice, pinto beans, fresh tomato salsa, tomatillo red-chili salsa, roasted chili-corn salsa, queso blanco, and guac wrapped in a flour tortilla.
The new burrito contains 1330 calories and carries a suggested price of $13.70 (may vary).
