El Pollo Loco Introduces New California Queso Burrito And New Chicken Tinga Burrito


El Pollo Loco looks to increase their L.A. Mex burrito offerings with the introduction of the new California Queso Burrito and the Chicken Tinga Burrito.

The California Queso Burrito includes chopped chicken, Tapatio fries, queso blanco, pinto beans, pico de gallo salsa, and guacamole, wrapped in a 12-inch flour tortilla.

Meanwhile, the new Chicken Tinga Burrito features saucy, smoky chicken tinga, rice, pinto beans, queso fresco, avocado slices, and pico de gallo salsa, all wrapped up in a 12-inch flour tortilla.

For those unfamiliar, chicken tinga is a popular Mexican dish that usually consists of shredded chicken in a savory sauce made from chipotle chilis, sliced onions, and tomatoes in adobo.

Both burritos are available a la carte for $7.79 or as part of a combo with small chips and a regular drink for $9.39. Prices may vary.

You can find both the California Queso Burrito and the Chicken Tinga Burrito at participating El Pollo Loco restaurants nationwide as part of the chain’s L.A. Mex Burritos lineup.
