KFC’s new menu item has social media going crazy.

The chain’s latest menu addition called the Mac ‘N Cheese Zinger is a new version of the chain’s popular Zinger Spicy Chicken Sandwich. But instead of a sesame seed bun, it features a Mac and Cheese bun.

KFC wants to come up with the craziest menu item they can get away with. Last month, the chain introduced the Cheetos Chicken Sandwich at select locations across the nation.

But apparently that was not enough. No, they had to take it one step further; they had to come up with something even more outrageous. And so the Mac ‘N Cheese Zinger was born.

As mentioned above, the new sandwich features a crispy chicken breast served on a Mac and Cheese bun. Apart from the spicy KFC Zinger Fillet, it also comes with crispy turkey bacon, lettuce, and cheese sauce.

The Mac and Cheese Zinger costs $5.52 in U.S. dollars and you can order it for dine-in or takeout. You can also add an order of medium whipped potato and a drink to make it a meal for an additional $1.00.

Sadly, the new menu item is only available for a limited time in Singapore. Will KFC add the new Mac ‘N Cheese Zinger sandwich to the menu in the US? No one knows.
