As the chicken sandwich wars continue to heat up, KFC announces the nationwide rollout of its latest menu item: the new KFC Chicken Sandwich.
The fast-food chicken said that “its best chicken sandwich ever” will begin rolling out today in the US at select locations in Chicago, Kansas City, Louisville, Portland, Sacramento, San Francisco, St. Louis, Seattle, and Tulsa, with more to come in the following weeks. Actually, to be more precise, the new chicken sandwich will be available in all 4,000 of KFC’s US restaurants by the end of February 2021.
The KFC Chicken Sandwich consists of a quarter-pound, all white meat, double breaded, Extra crispy chicken breast filet with crispier, thicker pickles and your choice of either the Colonel’s real mayo or Spicy sauce, all sandwiched between a toasted, buttered brioche bun.
KFC’s new chicken sandwich is available on its own for a suggested price of $3.99. You can also get it as part of a combo meal with a side of Secret Recipe Fries and a medium fountain drink for $6.99.
You can find out if the sandwich is already available at a KFC restaurant near you by visiting KFC.com/findthesandwich. The page provides daily updates regarding the sandwich’s availability as it’s added to the menu in more and more locations across the country.
Have you tried it yet? If so, let us know what you think about it. Not that it will stop me from heading out to my local KFC when it arrives to try it out for myself, but still!
