KFC will be celebrating Mother’s Day this year by offering a free Kentucky Fried Buckquet from Proflowers when you purchase a Sides Lovers Meal from May 1 through May 3, 2022.
The Kentucky Fried Buckquet is a DIY floral arrangement that, once put together, can be part fried chicken and part fresh flowers.
To take advantage of the special deal, simply order a KFC Sides Lovers Meal for Mother’s Day through the KFC app or kfc.com (offer online only, not available in-restaurant) between May 1 and 3, and you’ll receive a promo code via email to redeem a free Kentucky Fried Buckquet kit from Proflowers.
Each Kentucky Fried Buckquet kit includes 12 colorful and vibrant roses, a glass vase, a KFC vase applique, eight skewers to put the brand’s world-famous chicken in the bouquet, and a card to tell mom how much she means to you. Just take note that the chicken is sold separately and is not included as part of the kit.
The Sides Lovers Meal includes eight Extra Crispy tenders or eight pieces of KFC fried chicken (Original Recipe or Extra Crispy), four freshly baked biscuits, and your choice of three large sides, such as the brand’s not-so-new-now Secret Recipe Fries, Mac & Cheese, Cole Slaw, and Mashed Potatoes, and more.
You can make a DIY arrangement for mom by pairing the Sides Lovers Meal with the roses and supplies provided by Proflowers. Once assembled, the fried chicken bouquet can feature KFC Extra Crispy chicken tenders or chicken, skewered and tucked into a vase alongside an arrangement of a dozen multi-colored roses.
How to surprise mom with a Sides Lovers Meal and a Kentucky Fried Buckquet on Mother’s Day:
- Step 1: Between May 1 and May 3, pre-order a Sides Lovers Meal online by scheduling delivery or Quick Pick-Up on the KFC mobile app or KFC.com for Mother’s Day weekend (or any other day you want to celebrate mom and the special women in your life). Keep in mind that you’ll need to add extra chicken if you plan to fill your bouquet with all eight skewers of chicken.
- Step 2: After your order is complete, you will receive an email with a special code and a link to the Proflowers website where you can schedule the delivery of the free Kentucky Fried Buckquet arrangement. The fried chicken bouquet will be shipped directly to you and ready to assemble.
- Step 3: Once the KFC Sides Lovers Meal and Buckquet roses and assembly materials from Proflowers are delivered, assemble your very own Kentucky Fried Buckquet and surprise mom.
- Step 4: Take some pictures of her reaction and share them on social media by tagging @kfc with the hashtag #KFCMothersDay.
