Donut Sticks will soon be available on the McDonald’s breakfast menu at participating locations for a limited-time.
Announced over a month ago, Donut Sticks will debut on the chain’s menu on February 20, 2019 as promised.
The new menu item is basically McDonald’s version of Dunkin’s famous Donut Fries. They’re also similar to Burger King’s Funnel Cake Fries, which debuted last month.
Fried in soybean oil and served warm, McDonald’s cinnamon-sugar-dusted fried doughnut sticks are, according to the company, the perfect companion for a cup of McCafé coffee.
McDonald’s Donut Sticks are available in 6 and 12-piece orders for $1.69 and $3.29, respectively. Prices vary by location though.
Keep in mind that the new menu item is only available during breakfast hours, which end at 10:30 a.m., according to the company.
A six piece order of Donut Sticks has 280 calories, 13 grams of fat, 34 grams of carbs, and 6 grams of protein.
A 12-piece order has 560 calories, 27 grams of fat, 68 grams of carbs, and 12 grams of protein.
“Donut Sticks are the perfect complement to the chain’s existing breakfast lineup,” said Linda VanGosen in a statement.
