McDonald’s is officially entering the fast-food chicken sandwich wars with the launch of three brand-new crispy chicken sandwiches on Wednesday, February 24, 2021.
Available in three varieties—Crispy, Spicy, and Deluxe—the new sandwich features a crispy, juicy, tender 100% all white meat chicken fillet that, according to the company, “will capture the hearts and tastebuds of chicken enthusiasts across the US.”
The new Crispy Chicken Sandwich comes with a 100% all white meat chicken fillet topped with crinkle cut pickles and served on a new toasted, buttered potato roll.
The new Spicy Chicken Sandwich consists of a crispy chicken fillet topped with a Spicy Pepper Sauce and crinkle cut pickles on a toasted, buttered potato roll.

The Deluxe Chicken Sandwich features a 100% all white meat chicken fillet topped with shredded lettuce, sliced Roma tomatoes, and mayo, all served on a toasted potato roll.

McDonald’s new chicken sandwich lineup joins other chicken classics like the chain’s popular Chicken McNuggets and the McChicken Sandwich, as well as a variety of popular limited time offerings, such as the McChicken Biscuit and Spicy Chicken McNuggets.
You can find the new chicken sandwiches at participating McDonald’s locations nationwide starting on February 24, 2021. All three sandwiches can be ordered via carry-out, Drive Thru, the McDonald’s app, or McDelivery. Just keep in mind that prices will vary from location to location like they normally do.

I doubt the crispy chicken could be as good as the old buttermilk chicken sandwich. I don’t know why they got rid of it.
