In a somewhat unexpected move, McDonald’s has announced that it is bringing back the McRib to select restaurants across the US starting November 13, 2023.
The news comes as a surprise to many McDonald’s customers, as the fast-food restaurant chain announced last fall it would stop selling the elusive rib sandwich for good.
For those unaware, last year, McDonald’s held the much-publicized McRib Farewell Tour in which fans were given “one last chance” to try the sandwich before being removed from the menu permanently.
McDonald’s McRib features a seasoned pork patty smothered in a tangy BBQ sauce, topped with silvered onions and dill pickles, and served on a toasted homestyle bun.
Prices may vary by location, but you can expect to pay around $4.99 for the returning fan-favorite rib sandwich.
The McRib sandwich can be found at select McDonald’s locations nationwide for a limited time starting Monday, November 13, 2023.
