McDonald’s serves up a taste of the tropics over in Japan with the return of its limited time, Hawaiian-inspired menu featuring the new Chunky Potato & Beef Creamy Jalapeno burger alongside a pair of seasonal fan favorites, including Cheese Loco Moco and Garlic Shrimp burgers.
The new Chunky Potato & Beef Creamy Jalapeno burger features a beef patty layered with creamy jalapeno mayo sauce and melty cheddar cheese and topped with a chunky potato hash brown and Hawaiian barbecue sauce on a lightly toasted bun.
Meanwhile, the Cheese Loco Moco includes a beef patty, shredded lettuce, mayo, cheddar cheese, a fried egg, and a special barbecue sauce that’s a bit spicy and packed with umami flavor, all sandwiched between a toasted bun.
Lastly, the Garlic Shrimp burger consists of a deep-fried breaded shrimp patty with spicy garlic sauce, shredded lettuce, and mayo in a lightly toasted bun.
Both the new Chunky Potato & Beef Creamy Jalapeno burger and the Cheese Loco Moco carry a suggested price of 530 yen each, or about $3.76 USD, while the Garlic Shrimp burger goes for 470 yes, or about $3.33 in US dollars.
