McDonald’s dials up the heat by quietly adding Spicy Chicken McNuggets as the first limited time offering for 2021.
The returning fan favorites come covered in a spicy breading that, according to McDonald’s, adds a real kick to their original chicken nugget recipe. They’re also paired with Mighty Hot Sauce, which is the chain’s hottest available dipping sauce as well as its first new sauce since 2017.
Spicy Chicken McNuggets feature all white meat chicken breaded in a crispy coating that’s spiced with a blend of aged cayenne and chili peppers, and served with a side of the brand’s new Mighty Hot Sauce for dipping.
The brand’s Mighty Hot Sauce consists of a powerful blend of crushed red pepper, cayenne peppers, and spicy chilis, all balanced with savory garlic and a hint of sweetness.
Also, from February 2 to February 6, 2021, McDonald’s fans can get a free 6-piece Spicy Chicken McNuggets when they place a McDelivery order through Door Dash for $20 or more, using the promo code SPICY.
