McDonald’s celebrates the 50th anniversary of its popular Shamrock Shake by adding it to menus nationwide. Additionally, the chain will also be unveiling a new, delicious Shamrock dessert called the OREO Shamrock McFlurry to celebrate the special occasion.
This is the first time McDonald’s is taking the Shamrock Shake nationwide since 2017.
The new Oreo Shamrock McFlurry features creamy, vanilla soft serve blended with the chain’s unmistakable Shamrock flavor and OREO cookies pieces.
McDonald’s describes the new treat as a “delicious minty-chocolaty dessert that super fans and new fans alike can enjoy.”
The Shamrock Shake consists of creamy, vanilla soft serve blended with Shamrock flavor and topped with whipped topping.
Both the Shamrock Shake and the new Oreo Shamrock McFlurry will be available nationwide starting Wednesday, February 19, 2020.
