Nathan’s Famous announced today two new additions to its recently evolved line of chicken sandwiches, the Nashville Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich and the Sticky, Spicy Grilled Chicken.
Both sandwiches include the more flavorful boneless, skinless chicken thigh instead of chicken breast. According to a press release, the chicken thigh gives the new sandwiches a “flavor punch, offering a juicier and more intense flavor due to the dark meat.”
The new Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich features a chicken thigh hand-dipped in batter, fried and tossed with Nashville hot sauce, then topped with mayo and crinkle cut pickle slices and served on a buttered and toasted Turano roll.
The Sticky, Spicy Grilled Chicken Sandwich features a chicken thigh marinated overnight in Koji Sticky Spicy Sauce, topped with slaw, Nathan’s own sticky, spicy sauce, green onions, and sesame seeds, all served on a Turano roll.
The new chicken sandwiches are available as part of Nathan’s Famous new value menu for a suggested price of $7 each. Both chicken sandwiches are currently available at select locations in New York and Florida, with a planned roll out nationwide in the coming months.
