With National Donut Day just around the corner, many chains across the US, including Dunkin’, Tim Hortons, and Krispy Kreme, will be celebrating the special occasion by offering free and discounted doughnuts on June 7, 2024.
National Donut Day Deals 2024:
- Dunkin’: Stop by any Dunkin’ location to score a free classic donut of your choice with any beverage purchase while supplies last.
- Tim Hortons: Tim Rewards members across the U.S. can enjoy a free donut with any drink purchase, including beverages such as the limited-time Cookie Butter Cold Brew and Cookie Butter Iced Capp. Limit of one free donut per account.
- Krispy Kreme: Head to any Krispy Kreme location nationwide to get a free doughnut of your choice (excluding specialty and limited time doughnuts), no purchase necessary. Available in shop only, with a limit of one offer redemption per customer.
- Duck Donuts: Visit your local Duck Donuts store to enjoy a free cinnamon sugar doughnut on the house, no purchase necessary. Available in-store only.
- Voodoo Doughnut: Buy a dozen pink Raised Glazed doughnuts and get a second dozen for $10.
National Doughnut Day is observed every year on the first Friday of June, and this year it lands on June 7. The tradition began approximately 86 years ago, initiated by the Salvation Army to honor their “Donut Lassies.” These women volunteered with the organization in 1917, traveling to France to support injured soldiers. By preparing doughnuts, they played a key role in lifting the spirits of the troops.
