Babybel puts a dairy-free twist on its popular snackable cheese wedges with the launch of new Babybel Plant-Based at retailers nationwide.
Designed to mimic the taste and smooth, creamy texture of the brand’s iconic miniature cheese offering, the new Babybel Plant-Based tastes like mozzarella cheese and offers a good source of vitamin B12 and calcium.
And since the new snack needs iconic new packaging as well, the certified plant-based snack is packaged in Babybel’s signature wax coating, now in green to identify the new product as plant-based.
Babybel Plant-Based is available in a 6-count bag at Whole Foods and Fresh Thyme, as well as a 32-count pack at Costco and 20-count pack at Sam’s Club, with expanded availability to come later this year.
Additionally, sustainability conscious consumers will be glad to know that the new packaging consists of 80% paper and the wrappers inside are certified home compostable by TUV Austria.
