White Castle pays tribute to the very first hamburger they ever made by introducing a new, permanent menu item for the first time in several years, The 1921 Slider.
Marking 101 years of slider innovations, The 1921 Slider features a thick, 100 percent beef patty, seared and seasoned to perfection, then topped with melted cheddar cheese, grilled caramelized onions, a slice of Roma tomato, lettuce and pickles, all served on a signature slider bun.
Originally tested in Cincinnati last spring, The 1921 Slider can now be found at participating White Castle locations in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Arizona, New Jersey, Florida, and Tennessee. White Castle restaurants in New York will begin offering the new 1921 Slider in June 2022.
The 1921 Slider is available a la carte for a suggested price of $1.99 each, or as part of a 1921 Slider Combo that includes two sliders, small French fries and a small soft drink for $8.06 (may vary). They’re also offering a 1921 Slider Share-a-Meal Combo where you get four sliders, two small French fries, and two soft drinks for $16.12 (may vary).
Additionally, and to complement the new 1921 Slider, White Castle is also introducing a brand new soft drink option: Coca-Cola Crème Soda.
The new Coca-Cola Crème Soda, which features a remarkable blend of creme soda with Coca-Cola, can be enjoyed on its own for a suggested starting price of $1.99.
Fans can get the new Coca-Cola Crème Soda at White Castle before anywhere else. White Castle has been serving Coca-Cola since it first opened its doors more than one hundred years ago, when the soft drink, sliders, coffee and apple pie were the only items available on the chain’s menu.
