A brand new crispy chicken sandwich may be hitting McDonald’s menus across the country as early as next week.
The new Bacon Ranch McCrispy is expected to launch on February 24, 2023, according to several McDonald’s employees who have taken to Reddit to share the deets.
The Bacon Ranch McCrispy features a breaded, crispy-fried chicken breast filet served with crinkle-cut pickles, bacon and ranch sauce on a toasted, buttered potato bun.
Additionally, on a different thread, another McDonald’s crew member also mentioned that all four crispy chicken sandwiches currently available on the menu will be renamed to “McCrispy.” It is unclear whether they’re actually changing the sandwich’s name, but it’s not a far-fetched idea, given that the fast-food chain already offers McCrispy chicken sandwiches in Canada and the UK.
So, if the rumors are true, I suppose that the Crispy Chicken Sandwich will now be simply called “McCrispy,” the Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich will be dubbed “Spicy McCrispy,” and so on and so forth.
Again, if this information turns out to be right, you can expect the Bacon Ranch McCrispy to land on menus nationwide for a limited time starting Friday, February 24.
