Panera Adds New Southwest Chicken Tortilla Soup, Brings Back Strawberry Poppyseed Salad

Strawberry Poppyseed Salad is back at Panera Bread and along with it comes the new Southwest Chicken Tortilla Soup.

The Southwest Chicken Tortilla Soup consists of a zesty roasted tomato and chili broth with slow-simmered chicken, corn, black beans, poblano peppers, masa, hominy, lime, and cilantro, and garnished with masa crisps.

Panera’s new soup is similar to the Southwest Chicken Tortilla Bowl that was introduced back in 2017, which consisted of smoked pulled chicken, quinoa tomato sofrito blend, brown rice, spinach, Napa cabbage blend, pickled red onions, roasted red peppers, fresh lime, adobo corn, and chile lime rojo sauce, topped with cilantro and masa crisps in hen broth.

The Strawberry Poppy Seed Salad features romaine lettuce, mandarin oranges, blueberries, strawberries, and pineapple tossed in poppyseed dressing and topped with toasted pecan pieces. And you can also get it with chicken.

Both the salad and the soup can be found at participating Panera Bread restaurants nationwide for a limited time.
