It looks like IHOP will soon offer a new take on both pancakes and cereal with the launch of their new limited edition Panflakes cereal.
There’s not much information yet, but the new product which is described simply as “pancakes topped with breakfast cereal,” does seem to be for real.
According to Trademarkia, On Tuesday, March 10, 2020, a U.S. federal trademark registration was filed for PANFLAKES by IHOP RESTAURANTS LLC.
And yesterday, the company teased the image above on Twitter with a message that read: “Here’s a little taste of something we’re working on. Stay tuned for more.”
As expected, fans on Twitter are going wild over IHOP’s new Panflakes. “This better be real” wrote one user, to which IHOP replied: “Oh it’s real. Real good.”
Another user asked, “when does it come out?”
IHOP responded: “Hold on to your pancakes. More information coming soon.”
The company also posted a video that shows how to make — and eat — Panflakes.
