Sonic Drive-In adds queso to the menu with the launch of the new, limited time Queso Burger.
Sonic’s new Queso Burger comes with a 100% pure beef patty covered with melty cheddar cheese and a zesty cheese sauce with Hatch Green Chiles and topped with grilled onions and creamy mayo on a toasted bakery bun.
Scott Uehlein, vice president of product innovation and development for SONIC, said that they’ve “enhanced the flavor of melty queso with the sweet, spicy and smoky flavor of real Hatch Green Chiles to deliver that elusive, satisfying umami in an irresistible burger.”
The Queso Burger carries a suggested price of $3.99, although prices may vary by location.
The new menu item is available now at participating Sonic Drive-In locations nationwide for a limited time.
