Pizza Hut’s First Book Bundle deal is back at Pizza Hut restaurants across the nation and online for a limited time.
The First Book Bundle deal is part of The Pizza Hut Literacy Project which aims to improve literacy skills and standards by providing local communities “with books and resources to help kids in need reach their potential.”
The company has been using the BOOK IT! Program to change lives since 1984. Encouraging reading in schools around the country is their mission. The BOOK IT program is the “largest and longest-running corporate supported reading program” in the country.
Pizza Hut partnered with First Book, an organization that has been providing equal access to quality education for kids in need since 1992, back in 2015. Over the nearly 4 years since the partnership was formed, the funds donated through The Literacy Project have gone to First Book. And First Book then takes care of choosing “age-appropriate and culturally-relevant books for children in need.”

Pizza Hut’s Literacy Project gives $1 from every purchase to First Book. And that one dollar goes towards providing access to book and educational resources.
