Pollo Tropical gives customers more of what they want with the introduction of the new Balsamic Tomato Chicken and the return of their popular Vegan Picadillo, which is made with Beyond Beef and can be enjoyed in a Tropichop or Wrap.
The new Balsamic Tomato Chicken features fan favorite balsamic tomatoes and Pollo Tropical’s citrus-marinated grilled chicken breast paired with your choice of any regular side. The dish is only 180 calories and carries a suggested price of $4.99 (may vary).
Pollo Tropical’s Vegan Picadillo consists of Beyond Beef, peppers, and onions in a tomato-based sauce. For those unfamiliar, Beyond Beef is a 100% plant-based ground meat made by Beyond Meat that was first introduced back in 2020.
This time around, fans have the option to create their own Tropichop by choosing a base such as white rice, brown rice, or lettuce, and then topping it off with Vegan Picadillo and your choice of toppings.
Meanwhile, the Vegan Wrap also features Vegan Picadillo and includes your choice of white or brown rice, plus the chain’s famous black beans and sweet plantains, all wrapped in a warm flour tortilla.
All menu items mentioned are available now for a limited time only at participating Pollo Tropical restaurants nationwide.
