Popeyes announced today that it’s teaming up with Grammy Award-winning artist, Megan Thee Stallion, to launch the all-new Megan Thee Stallion Hottie Sauce and Chicken Sandwich, and co-branded merchandise, as part of a limited-edition collection.
The new sauce combines honey, cider vinegar, and Aleppo pepper for a perfect amount of heat that complements the authentic Louisiana chicken recipe that fans have come to know and love.
Starting October 19, 2021, Hottie Sauce will spice up the iconic Popeyes Chicken Sandwich and the chain’s new Nuggets in the US and in 14 countries around the world. This marks the first time Popeyes will release a new variation of its famed Chicken Sandwich.
Popeyes x Megan Thee Stallion merch will consist of three exclusive releases, with the first collection, Thee Heat, dropping at 12PM EDT on October 19, 2021 at TheeHottieSauce.com to celebrate the launch of Megan Thee Stallion’s new Hottie Sauce hitting at participating restaurants.
The first collection, Thee Heat, will feature bikinis, long sleeve shirts, hats, tumblers and Popeyes chicken tenders plush dog toys. Current Popeyes Rewards members and anyone who enrolls before October 18 will be one of the first lucky ones to receive exclusive information and early access to this limited edition hot drop on October 19. Hottie Sauce, Sandwich and Nuggets will be available for a limited time at participating Popeyes locations across the world starting on October 18, 2021.
