Subway is cranking up the heat with the introduction of an all-new flavor never before seen on the chain’s menu: Ghost Pepper Bread.
Touted as the brand’s spiciest offering yet, the new Ghost Pepper Bread, developed by Subway’s culinary experts after spending more than a year refining this unique recipe that perfectly balances heat, texture, and taste with bold seasonings and toppings, features Artisan Italian bread dough coated with a blend of ghost pepper, habanero, and paprika-seasoned panko breadcrumbs, topped with slices of jalapeño and Monterey cheddar cheeses before being baked to a crispy, toasty finish.
Ghost Pepper Bread adds an extra kick to any six-inch or footlong sandwich, but spice-loving Subway fans can fully experience its intense flavor with two brand-new sandwich options:
- Spicy Nacho Steak: Sliced steak is smothered in creamy cheddar cheese sauce and topped with green peppers, red onion, spicy jalapeños, and SubKrunch, all finished with a drizzle of Creamy Sriracha sauce. Priced at $8.99 for a 6-inch sub and $13.49 for a Footlong.
- Fiery Meatball: A spicy twist on the iconic meatball sub, the Fiery Meatball is made with pepperoni, juicy meatballs, and pepper jack cheese with extra jalapeños, drizzled with creamy Sriracha sauce and then topped with even more melty pepper jack and parmesan cheese.
